Pacific Integrated Logistics (PLG) has concluded the Agreement with STL (Sitthi Logistics Laos) on 5th April 2019 in Vientiane Capital, Lao PDR to join hand develop Vientiane Logistics Park (VLP) to transform Laos from Land-Locked Country to Land-Linked Country.
Lao People’s Democratic Republic (Lao PDR), also called Laos, is a landlocked country surrounded by five neighboring countries such as Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Myanmar and China (Yunnan). Being landlocked has traditionally been a large constraint in the economic development in Lao PDR for a long time.
In response to above, the Government of Lao PDR (GOL) has entered a Memorandum of Understanding with STL dated 5th April 2019 to undertake the Feasibility Study for the joint development and implementation of the Project and its associated structures and facilities.
The VLP is a comprehensive logistics enter effectively customs clearance service and related logistics services instead of the existing Thanaleng warehouse. In addition, the VLP offers multi-modal transport service with truck and railway through the Container Yard (CY). Consequently, the VLP will be able to offer concrete solution to reduce logistics cost by a combination of railway and truck transport. The VLP will provide distribution processing service to the transit cargos in addition to temporary storage and transshipment service.

It a Sino-Singapore joint venture company invested by YUXINOU the operation company of the most successful China-Europe cargo railway and PLG.
The signing ceremony was chaired and witnessed by H.E Sonexay SIPHANDONE, Deputy Prime Minister of Lao PDR, Ministers and Vice Ministers from relevant ministries of Lao PDR.
