Why Choose Our Shrink Wrapping Services?

1. Versatility

Our heat shrink wrap can be tailored to fit any size or shape, making it suitable for protecting large and/or odd-sized machinery, equipment, boats and even aircraft. This flexibility ensures a tight and secure fit, minimising the risk of damage during transportation or storage.

2. Weather Resistance

Our shrink wrap is designed to withstand even the harshest weather conditions, including heavy rain and extreme temperatures. It acts as a protective barrier, keeping your valuable assets safe and secure. This feature is particularly advantageous for the construction and scaffolding industry, as it allows work to continue uninterrupted regardless of the season.

3. Moisture and Mildew Protection

We offer various countermeasures against moisture and mildew. Our shrink wrap is treated with special additives that prevent the growth of mould and mildew, keeping your wrapped units clean and dry. This ensures maximum protection and longevity for your cargo and assets.

4. Customised Zipper Access Doors

Our heat shrink wrap comes with customised zipper access doors, providing convenient entry points without compromising the integrity of the wrap. You can easily access your covered unit without the need for cutting or removing the shrink wrap cover, saving you time and effort.

5. Professional Appearance

Our heat shrink wrapping services not only protect your assets but also ensure that it looks sleek even if it is odd-sized. With our expertise and commitment to quality, you can trust us to meet all your shipping, storage and transportation needs.

6. Custom Fit

For customised wrapping needs, our shrink wrap can be combined to create a custom fit, with thickness options ranging from 7 mil to 10 mil . This versatility allows us to cater to different wrapping standards and requirements, providing a comprehensive solution for all your shrink wrapping needs.

Our Heat Wrap Safety Procedures

Safety is of our utmost priority and our team diligently adheres to all safety guidelines and regulations set forth by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM)

1. Endorsement and Approval of Permit

Before starting any work, the client has to endorse and approve the permit to work. This process guarantees a clear understanding of the scope of work and fosters a collaborative approach to safety.

2. Sharing of the Material Safety Data Sheet

The Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) will be shared to the client and heat wrap team. Clear communication is important in our safety procedures. We share the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) with both the client and our heat wrap team. This document gives crucial information about the materials in use, helping everyone make safe decisions.

3. Safety Briefing

Safety starts with knowledge. Before starting the heat wrap process, we conduct a thorough safety briefing for all workers. This ensures that each team member is well-prepared and aware of potential risks and safety measures.

4. Safety Pre-Checks

Given that our heat guns utilise propane during the shrink wrap process, stringent precautions are in place. Prior to operation, a thorough check is done to ensure that the cargo to be shrink-wrapped and the surrounding area are entirely free from any fuel combustion materials that might pose a risk of ignition.

5. Safety Devices

Our heat guns are equipped with a flash back arrestor. This safety device stops flames instantly and prevents gas from flowing back up the equipment or supply line. This keeps both the user and the equipment safe from damage or explosions.

6. Safety Protocols

To ensure safety, we dispatch a minimum of 4-6 workers for each job. This not only makes tasks more efficient but also adds an extra layer of safety through teamwork and collaboration.

7. Certification for Work-At-Height

In projects involving work at height, defined as any work above 2 meters, all mobile elevating work platform (MEWPs) equipment and operators have to be certified. This certification ensures that the equipment is in optimal condition and that the operators are trained to handle the unique challenges associated with working at elevated levels.
